Help & Setup Guide

How to choose the right plan

A plan is chosen by the satellite your dish points at, not by your country. Every plan page has a "Show satellites" list. Pick the plan whose list includes your satellite.

If you do not know your satellite, tell us three channels you watch now and we will work it out with you on WhatsApp.

Which satellites are common in each region

This is a general guide. Your own dish may be different, so please check it.

  • Pakistan: Paksat 38E, AsiaSat 105.5E.
  • India: 83E, 91.5E, 108.2E, 68.5E.
  • Iraq and the Gulf (Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait): Nilesat 7W, Badr 26E, Hotbird 13E.
  • Africa: Eutelsat 36E, Nilesat 7W, Eutelsat 7E.
  • Europe: Hotbird 13E, Astra 19.2E, Astra 28.2E.

Before you order, send us these four things

  • Your country and city.
  • The satellite your dish points at.
  • The channels you want to watch.
  • A photo of your receiver's STB Information screen.

We check them and confirm the plan before you pay. Channels can change over time, so if one channel matters to you, ask us about it first.

Where to find your Serial Number (SN)

Open the receiver menu and go to STB Information. On some receivers it is under System Setting or About. The Serial Number is shown there. You can send us a photo of that screen. We never need your password.

You renewed but it is not working

Please check these in order:

  • Open STB Information. Does it show the new expiry date? If not, check that the Serial Number you gave us is correct.
  • Is the receiver connected to the internet? Open YouTube or the network test on the receiver.
  • Restart the receiver with the internet connected.
  • Does a free channel on the same satellite work? If not, the problem is the dish signal, not the plan.
  • Scan the satellite again. Channels sometimes move to a new frequency.
  • Is the channel on a satellite that your plan covers? Check the "Show satellites" list on the plan page.
  • Update the receiver to its latest software.

If it still does not work, send us photos of the STB Information screen, the network status screen and the signal bar on the channel. We will tell you what is wrong.

Things that can block your device

  • Do not connect the receiver to an HDMI splitter, a capture card or a PC.
  • Do not share or restream the service.

Use your phone's internet on the receiver

On receivers that support it, connect the phone with a USB cable and turn on USB tethering on the phone.

YouTube on your receiver

Some receivers need a YouTube API key. Create a free key in Google Cloud Console (YouTube Data API v3). Save it in a file named youtube.cfg on a USB stick and open it from the receiver's USB menu, or type it in YouTube, Setting.

Bluetooth headphones and speakers

Plug in a USB Bluetooth dongle, then open Main Menu, Network, Bluetooth. If it does not connect, restart the dongle and the receiver.

Block adult channels

This can be turned off from the cloud for your receiver. Send us your Serial Number and the Verification Code from the STB Information screen, then restart the receiver.

Arrange your channel list

Receivers with CHMax can load a ready channel list from the cloud. Open the CHMax menu on the receiver and choose Load from Cloud.
